aespa's Winter and ENHYPEN's Jungwon Deny Dating Rumors Amid Legal Threats

Dating rumors between Winter (윈터) of aespa and Jungwon (정원) from ENHYPEN have surfaced, prompting both artists' agencies to firmly deny the claims and announce potential legal action.
On December 11, 2024, SM Entertainment, representing Winter, stated that the rumors are "completely unfounded." They further explained that the individual who spread the rumors attempted to contact a media outlet for monetary gain but was rejected, leading to the malicious dissemination of false information. The agency confirmed they would pursue legal measures against such actions.
Similarly, Belift Lab, Jungwon's agency, also refuted the dating rumors, asserting that they are not true. They emphasized their commitment to taking strong action against any invasion of the artists' privacy and the spread of harmful rumors.
The speculation began when a social media post claimed to have spotted Winter and Jungwon together at a whiskey bar in Seoul, accompanied by photos that were later deleted.
Winter debuted with aespa in 2020 and quickly gained popularity with hits like "Black Mamba," "Next Level," and "Savage." Jungwon made his debut with ENHYPEN after participating in the Mnet survival show 'I-LAND' in 2020. ENHYPEN has recently achieved significant success, ranking 12th on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums chart with their second studio album, 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD.'
