Karina from aespa and An Yujin from IVE are set to join forces for a special performance at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon, taking place on December 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. Both artists are recognized as leaders of the 'fourth generation' girl groups, and their collaboration has generated significant excitement, especially after they participated in aespa's 'Drama' challenge last year.

This year, aespa has achieved remarkable success with hits like 'Supernova,' 'Armageddon,' and 'Whiplash.' The title track 'Supernova' made history by topping the Melon weekly chart for 15 consecutive weeks, setting a new record for the longest reign in 20 years. The group has also won major awards at events such as the 2024 K World Dream Awards and the 2024 MAMA Awards, marking a series of career highs.

At the recent 2024 Gayo Daejuse Festival Global Festival held on December 20, aespa captivated audiences with powerful performances of 'Whiplash' and 'Armageddon.' Fans are eager to see what kind of impactful stage they will present at the upcoming SBS Gayo Daejeon.

In addition to her collaboration with Karina, An Yujin will also serve as an MC for the event. Since March 2022, she has been a prominent host for the Gayo Daejeon, showcasing her skills in leading the K-pop festival. IVE is also anticipated to deliver a special performance at the event.
