Actress Nam Bora Ties the Knot with Businessman

On May 10, 2025, actress Nam Bora will marry a fellow entrepreneur of the same age in a ceremony held at a private location in Seoul. The couple grew close while volunteering at their church, eventually deciding to take their relationship to the next level through marriage.

The wedding will be hosted by Nam Bora's close friend, comedian Kim Gi-ri, with performances by actors Park Jin-joo and Kim Min-young, who both starred alongside her in the film Sunny (써니).

Nam Bora first announced her engagement on her YouTube channel in October 2024, sharing a proposal video that garnered a warm response from fans. She expressed her surprise at the overwhelming love and support she received, stating, "I didn’t expect such a strong reaction. Honestly, I felt grateful all day long, receiving calls and messages. I finally understood what it feels like to be loved."

In a follow-up announcement, she clarified that while there was much speculation, she had not yet held a formal wedding ceremony. She mentioned that the main event is scheduled for May of the following year, approximately six months away.

Nam Bora also shared some details about her fiancé, revealing that his lower face is already public knowledge, but not much else. She noted that his MBTI personality type is INTP, indicating he is quite private. Her husband is said to resemble soccer star Son Heung-min.

When asked about her decision to marry, Nam Bora explained, "I didn’t fall for him at first sight; he’s just consistently diligent. He appears impressive because he works hard every day and is very capable in his career. I felt that he was someone I could learn a lot from, and I wanted to spend more time with him. I realized that diligence and sincerity are qualities I admire in a partner."

Nam Bora rose to fame in 2005 after appearing on MBC's Sunday Sunday Night - Choir of Angels (일요일 일요일 밤에-천사들의 합창).
