Actress Kim Sae-ron (김새론), aged 25, was discovered deceased at her home on February 16, 2025. According to police reports, a friend found her collapsed and alerted authorities. Investigations are currently underway, with the possibility of suicide being considered. Kim rose to fame in 2009 with her role in the film 'The Man from Nowhere' (아저씨) and solidified her acting career with performances in 'Dohee-ya' (도희야), 'High School - Love On' (하이스쿨-러브온), and 'The Witch's Diary' (마녀보감). However, her career faced a setback after a drunk driving incident in May 2022 in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, where she fled the scene with a blood alcohol level of 0.2%, leading to a fine of 20 million won.
