Actress Jung Ga-eun Passes Taxi Driver Qualification Exam After Personal Struggles

Jung Ga-eun (정가은), a 47-year-old actress who has openly shared her financial struggles following her divorce, has successfully passed the taxi driver qualification exam. On May 19, she shared her experience on her YouTube channel, revealing that she found the exam quite challenging, stating, "Wow, it was really difficult. I passed with a score of 75, but the questions were different from what I studied."

She noted that while she focused on a single YouTube channel for her studies, she realized that exploring multiple sources would have been more beneficial. "I needed to score 90, so I feel a bit disappointed," she added.

After receiving her taxi driver license on-site, Jung called her father, a former taxi driver, to share the good news. During a video call, she proudly showed him her license, saying, "I’ve followed in your footsteps, Dad. See you at home."

Jung Ga-eun debuted as a model in 1997 and gained recognition through her role in tvN's Roller Coaster (롤러코스터), later appearing in numerous projects. She married a businessman in 2016 and welcomed a daughter, but the couple divorced in 2017. Last year, she made headlines by revealing her ongoing financial difficulties.
