Actor Yoo Tae-oh to Travel to Germany Following Father's Passing

Actor Yoo Tae-oh is set to travel to Germany after the passing of his father. On December 18, his agency, Beatnik, confirmed to OSEN that Yoo's father had passed away and that he would be departing for Germany with his wife, photographer Nikki Lee, the following day. It is reported that the late father had been suffering from a chronic illness. As a result of this loss, Yoo will also be absent from the '2024 MBC Entertainment Awards' scheduled for December 29. According to his agency, he is expected to remain in Germany at least until the end of the month. Yoo Tae-oh was born to a Korean miner father and a Korean nurse mother in Germany, where he completed his high school education. He married Nikki Lee, who is 11 years his senior, in 2006. Yoo made his acting debut in the 2009 film 'Actresses' and has since appeared in various dramas and films, including 'Arthdal Chronicles' (아스달 연대기), 'Vagabond' (배가본드), 'Money Game' (머니게임), and movies like 'Leto' (레토), 'Collateral' (담보), 'New Year’s Eve' (새해전야), 'Past Lives' (패스트 라이브즈), and 'Dirty Money' (더러운 돈에 손대지 마라).
