Actor Park Young-kyu Faces Shocking Health News After 10 Years

In the latest episode of KBS2TV's reality show, 살림남2 (Salim Nam 2), actor Park Young-kyu underwent a long-overdue health check-up, revealing alarming results. The episode aired on July 19, 2025, showcasing Park and his wife, Lee Eun-joo, as they navigated the health screening process. Park has a family history of health issues, including the loss of his brother to bile duct cancer, which made him hesitant to undergo medical examinations. He even expressed a desire to remain unaware of any potential illness rather than face the results.

However, motivated by the love of his 25-year-younger wife and his cherished stepdaughter, Park took the step to get checked. The day before the examination, he shared important information, such as the safe combination and legal documents, with his wife, indicating his worries.

During the colonoscopy, doctors discovered a 6mm polyp, surprising everyone involved. The physician noted that the entire growth could likely be a type of polyp called adenomatous, and a biopsy was sent for further analysis. The doctor emphasized that it was fortunate Park came in for the check-up when he did.
