Actor Lee Sang-in and His Family Share Parenting Journey on 'My Precious Child'
On the March 14 episode of Channel A's 'My Precious Child' (요즘 육아 - 금쪽같은 내 새끼), actor Lee Sang-in and his wife appeared to discuss their experiences raising three sons. Lee introduced himself as a father of an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, and a 4-year-old, while also managing his role as a director at a marketing company, where he is involved in product planning, advertising shoots, and home shopping appearances.
Lee revealed that six years ago, he moved back to his hometown in Miryang, Gyeongnam, to provide his children with a rural upbringing filled with diverse experiences and positive energy. His wife, however, expressed her mixed feelings about the move, stating, "I followed him without knowing what I was getting into. I wanted to raise the kids in nature, but coming back to Seoul feels wonderful after a long time."
She further explained that while she used to enjoy living in Miryang, the challenges of parenting have made her appreciate the conveniences of city life, especially when returning to Seoul.
When asked about their sons, Lee's wife proudly shared, "Our eldest is full of love and curiosity, the second is sensitive and helps out a lot, and the youngest practices martial arts and always promises to protect me." Their affection for their children was evident as they spoke about their unique qualities.
