Actor Jin Tae-hyun Discharged After Thyroid Cancer Surgery

Actor Jin Tae-hyun has announced his discharge from the hospital today, June 27, following successful thyroid cancer surgery. In a heartfelt message shared on his social media, he expressed gratitude for the support he received during his recovery.

Jin stated, "I am finally being discharged. The combination of hospitalization, surgery, and recovery has been perfect. I am especially thankful to my wife, who has been my support for the past few days. I also appreciate the encouragement and prayers from friends and fans. In just three weeks, I have advertising shoots and broadcast recordings lined up, so I plan to recover slowly and healthily through rest and walks."

He emphasized that he had planned his hospitalization and surgery strategically to ensure he could manage his schedule effectively. "Everything has gone perfectly so far, so please do not believe any false news about me stepping back from broadcasting or undergoing chemotherapy," he reassured his fans.

Jin also shared his current health status, mentioning that while he was initially worried about potential post-surgery complications like voice issues and pain, his strong mental and physical health as a marathon runner has kept him feeling great. "I have had no muscle pain or headaches so far. I will continue to take my prescribed medications and manage my health carefully to return to my normal routine quickly."

Reflecting on his time in the cancer ward, he noted, "I spent a lot of time thinking. I want to discard unnecessary thoughts and fill my mind with clarity and positivity. I realized I had been living with too many burdens and distractions. It's time to organize my surroundings more neatly."

Jin concluded his message with a commitment to start morning walks from tomorrow, assuring fans he would take it easy. He plans to walk at the Olympic Park, where he used to train, as he prepares for a marathon in the second half of the year, a promise he made after his cancer diagnosis.
