Actor Jang Jae-ho Shares Life Changes After Marriage and Fatherhood

Actor Jang Jae-ho (장재호) opened up about his life changes following his marriage to actress Gong Min-jung (공민정) and the birth of their daughter during an interview on July 24 at the Sports Chosun headquarters in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Jang discussed his recent projects, including appearances in SBS's Our Movie (우리영화), ENA's Salon de Holmes (살롱 드 홈즈), and Netflix's Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3 (오징어 게임 시즌 2·3).

Jang and Gong tied the knot in September last year after working together on the show My Husband's Wedding (내 남편과 결혼해줘), and they welcomed their daughter in January this year. Reflecting on the past year, he said, "This year has brought many significant changes. It has been filled with happiness, and the most joyful moments were marrying my wife and the birth of our child. Building a happy family is a big deal for me. While I am grateful for the opportunities to work on various projects, I never realized how immense the happiness from family could be. My days are now filled with work and parenting, which can be tiring at times, but the joy far outweighs the fatigue."

He also emphasized the stability that family brings, stating, "Having a family is incredibly stabilizing and serves as a strong foundation for continuing my acting career."

Jang shared a behind-the-scenes story about Gong's special appearance in SBS's Our Movie, revealing that the director personally invited her. He mentioned feeling a bit strange since her character shares the same name as her.

When asked about his daily life, he described it as a routine of caring for their child, playing badminton with Gong, chatting, and enjoying late-night snacks together.

Currently, Jang is busy preparing for his next project.
