Actor Han Sang-jin Advocates for Dignity of Victims' Families in Jeju Air Tragedy

Actor Han Sang-jin made a heartfelt statement on December 31, urging for the dignity and respect of the victims' families affected by the Jeju Air tragedy. He emphasized the importance of honoring the victims, stating, "Please ensure the last dignity and treatment of the victims is upheld." Han also shared a video featuring the representative of the victims' families, who expressed concerns about the current state of the victims' remains, which are reportedly being neglected and left on the hangar floor. Despite the government's promise to provide refrigerated vehicles and storage, these commitments have not been fulfilled. This tragic incident occurred on December 29, 2024, when Jeju Air flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, attempted to land at Muan International Airport and crashed, resulting in the deaths of all 179 passengers, except for two crew members who were rescued. The government has declared a national mourning period until January 4, 2025.
