Actor Han Do-woo Admits to Past Marijuana Use and Issues Apology

Actor Han Do-woo has publicly acknowledged his past involvement in a marijuana smoking incident, which led to a suspended indictment. On January 1, he shared a handwritten apology on his Instagram story, expressing regret for disappointing many fans due to recent media coverage of the incident.
In his message, Han stated, "When the news first broke, I was filled with fear and uncertainty about how to address this situation. I felt nothing but shame and remorse for letting you down, which made it difficult for me to gather the courage to apologize sincerely."
He continued, "In December 2020, I made a foolish and immature decision that resulted in a police investigation. Ultimately, I received a suspended indictment from the prosecution. At the time, I tried to rationalize my actions under the guise of curiosity, but through the investigation, I realized how wrong my behavior was and have been reflecting deeply on my mistakes since then."
Han emphasized, "All my past actions are inexcusable mistakes. Thinking about how my poor judgment and actions have caused you disappointment and hurt weighs heavily on my heart. This remains my greatest regret."
He added, "No matter what I do, I cannot completely undo this mistake. Through this experience, I will take a deep look at myself and reflect. Moving forward, I will make choices that I can be proud of and live carefully to ensure that such incidents do not happen again."
