Actor Dongha Makes Comeback After Four-Year Hiatus Due to School Violence Allegations

Actor Dongha (동하), who paused his career due to allegations of school violence, is set to return to the screen after four years. He will resume acting in the film 'Cornell's Box' (코넬의 상자), which is scheduled for release on January 8. The movie revolves around the story of three close friends: Eunwoo, Taeyi, and Taeyi's girlfriend, Yujin. The plot thickens when Yujin unexpectedly takes her own life, prompting her brother and Taeyi to uncover the truth behind the tragedy. Dongha will portray the character Taeyi.
Dongha halted his activities in March 2021 following accusations of school bullying, which surfaced online claiming he had slapped and verbally abused another student. His agency firmly denied these allegations and announced plans for legal action.
In September of the following year, Dongha expressed his frustration, stating, "I am not a perpetrator of school violence," and revealed that he had filed a lawsuit against the individual who spread false information about him online for defamation and the dissemination of false facts. However, the investigation was closed as the original post was deleted, making it impossible to identify the suspect.
In July of last year, Dongha signed an exclusive contract with Emperus Entertainment (엠퍼시엔터테인먼트).
