Actor Bae Sung-woo to Host Episode 8 of SNL Korea Season 7

Coupang Play's hit comedy show, SNL Korea, continues to break records with its unique humor and high-quality comedy. The show has announced that actor Bae Sung-woo will be the host for Episode 8 of Season 7.
SNL Korea is known for featuring top-tier hosts who quickly become meme stars, alongside a crew renowned for their comedic prowess, making it the leading real comedy show in South Korea.
Bae Sung-woo, who has showcased a wide acting range across genres such as comedy, action, and thriller, is set to bring his impressive skills to the only live comedy show in South Korea. He is expected to deliver a remarkable performance in this season.
Having starred in films like Veteran (베테랑), The Beauty Inside (뷰티 인사이드), The Outlaws (내부자들), The King (더 킹), and Ashfall (안시성), Bae has earned acclaim for his realistic portrayals, establishing himself as a master of authentic acting. His experience in musicals and theater has honed his ability to convey emotions with precision, which will undoubtedly shine in the live format of SNL Korea.
Notably, Bae recently delivered a powerful performance as the character Sang-guk in the drama The 8 Show, and he has also taken on the role of detective Yang Seong-sik in the drama Lighting Store (조명가게), leaving a strong impression on viewers. Episode 8 of SNL Korea featuring Bae Sung-woo will air on Saturday, May 24, at 8 PM on Coupang Play. Episode 7, featuring actor Ahn Jae-hong, will be released on May 17. Audience members can apply for in-person attendance through Coupang Club.
