A.C.E Makes a Grand Return with Blockbuster Single 'PINATA'

K-pop group A.C.E has made a spectacular comeback with their new single 'PINATA', showcasing a blockbuster-level performance and their growth as artists. The group, consisting of members Park Junhee (박준희), Lee Donghun (이동훈), Wow (와우), Kim Byungkwan (김병관), and Kang Yuchan (강유찬), released their third single album 'PINATA' on November 20 at 6 PM KST across various online music platforms.

This marks A.C.E's first release since their hiatus and their first full group album in over three years. The members have returned with a more mature sound and visuals, enhancing their original conceptual charm and capturing the attention of fans.

The album title 'PINATA' draws inspiration from the colorful piñatas used in children's festivals in the U.S. and Latin America, reinterpreted to symbolize the sealing away of negative emotions such as sadness and pain. A.C.E portrays themselves as rebels seeking recovery in a controlled world, eagerly awaiting the moment this 'PINATA' bursts open. The narrative unfolds as they aim to reclaim emotions for the world, marking November 20 as a day of liberation through well-crafted music and content.

The title track 'PINATA' offers a grand emotional experience reminiscent of a blockbuster film, inspired by Christopher Nolan's movie 'Tenet'. The energetic vocals of the five members blend seamlessly with a complex distortion bass and various sound sources, creating a powerful auditory experience. Member Park Junhee contributed to the lyrics, enhancing the song's quality and solidifying A.C.E's identity.

The album also includes 'Intro: Recuerda, recuerda', which samples Mozart's Requiem, an English version of 'PINATA', and an instrumental version, totaling four tracks. 'Intro: Recuerda, recuerda' was previously teased with a stunning performance and trailer, generating significant buzz.

This year, all members of A.C.E completed their military service and released special singles 'Supernatural', 'Anymore', and 'Just Better'. Notably, 'Supernatural' and 'Anymore' made history as the first two consecutive songs by a K-pop artist to achieve diamond plaques on the U.S. DRT chart, further establishing their presence in the industry.
