935 Entertainment Issues Warning About Impersonation Scams

935 Entertainment, home to actors Namgoong Min (남궁민) and Yeon Jung-hoon (연정훈), has issued a warning regarding recent impersonation scams targeting its employees. On May 9, the agency alerted the public that individuals have been posing as company staff to gain financial benefits. These scammers have approached small businesses, pretending to be managers of affiliated celebrities, and have placed large orders at restaurants and wine companies under the pretense of hosting gatherings, only to not show up, resulting in significant losses for these establishments.

The agency emphasized that its employees and associates will never request money transfers or purchases from external parties under any circumstances. They urged anyone receiving similar requests to refrain from sending money or responding, and to report any incidents to the police immediately. 935 Entertainment is taking this matter seriously and is committed to preventing further incidents of this nature.

This warning follows similar alerts from other agencies, including Jejistar, which represents singer Song Ga-in (송가인), and Baro Entertainment, home to actor Byun Woo-seok (변우석), regarding impersonation scams targeting their staff as well.
