49-Year-Old Myung Se-bin Surprises Everyone with Dating Story Involving a Younger Man

In a surprising revelation on the SBS Plus variety show 'Solo' (솔로라서), actress Myung Se-bin shared an unexpected experience of being approached by a man significantly younger than her.

During the episode aired on November 26, 2024, Myung Se-bin welcomed guests to her home and prepared a special course meal, dubbed 'Se-bin's Course.' She humorously admitted to overindulging by purchasing a hefty 4.8 kg sea bass, which led to a minor mishap while filleting the fish without gloves, resulting in a cut on her finger. "I got hurt by the sea bass, but it was my fault for not being careful," she lamented.

As she skillfully filleted the fish, she revealed that she had learned the technique from her older sister and had received compliments from a sushi restaurant for her skills. Myung Se-bin showcased her professional side, even having a sashimi knife at hand.

The episode also featured restaurant CEO Ko Myung-hwan and his wife Lim Ji-eun, who have been together for 15 years since meeting on a drama set. Myung Se-bin confidently rated her cooking a perfect score of 100.

Ko Myung-hwan joked about Myung Se-bin's cooking skills, saying, "She’s beautiful and cooks well; I feel sorry for the guy who gets to eat here." He then teased her about a younger man who had previously pursued her.

Myung Se-bin blushed at the mention, admitting, "It was a long time ago when I went to Yangyang," prompting laughter as the group noted that Yangyang is a popular destination. She explained that the man was quite a bit younger, with a 17-year age difference, and asked if everyone had experienced being approached in such a manner. While Chaelim expressed envy, Myung Se-bin clarified that she was genuinely surprised by the encounter.

She recounted, "I didn’t have his contact information; it was really shocking. He looked very young, and I was just curious about where he was from." Despite her initial reluctance, the younger man persisted, leading her to eventually reveal that she was an actress as a way to deter him.

Ko Myung-hwan humorously questioned why she would discourage someone who was 20 years younger, to which Myung Se-bin explained that she was with friends and didn’t want to attract attention. Ultimately, she had to clarify her profession to put an end to the situation.
