37-Year-Old Song Ga-in Becomes CEO After Ending Agency Contract

On the November 27 episode of MBC's entertainment program Radio Star (라디오스타), Song Ga-in (송가인) proudly shared that she received a song from the legendary singer Shim Soo-bong (심수봉). The episode featured a special segment titled 'Sisters, Power Up' with guests Baek Ji-young (백지영), Kim Ji-yoon (김지윤), Song Ga-in, and Lee Sa-bae (이사배).
Song Ga-in, who mentioned her schedule is fully booked for the next ten months, revealed, "I am preparing a regular album. This time, I want to focus more on traditional trot music. I want to be careful about it, so I have received some songs from a famous teacher."
She expressed her excitement about receiving a song from Shim Soo-bong, stating, "It’s the first time the teacher has given a song to a junior. I feel so honored to receive the first song. The teacher is also meticulously watching my practice and has personally written and composed the song for me."
Additionally, she mentioned, "The teacher is having a concert in December, and I was thinking it would be great if I could go as a guest."
In the midst of her busy schedule, Song Ga-in also announced that she has taken on the role of CEO. She explained, "My contract with the agency has ended, so I established my own company, Gaindal Entertainment (가인달 엔터). I looked for names to register, but 'Ga-in' and 'Song' were already taken. So, I decided to name it Gaindal Entertainment, inspired by my song 'Seoul's Moon' (서울의 달), incorporating 'moon' into the name."
