2PM's Ok Taecyeon Denies Marriage Rumors

Former 2PM member and actor Ok Taecyeon has recently been the subject of marriage rumors, which have been confirmed as false. On February 5, Ok Taecyeon's agency, 51K, stated to OSEN that the circulating reports about his engagement to a non-celebrity girlfriend are 'completely unfounded.'

The rumors began after a photo surfaced online showing Ok Taecyeon kneeling in front of his girlfriend in Paris, presenting her with a ring. This image, taken by a photographer in April of last year, gained traction after a Chinese fan re-shared it. However, a representative from 51K clarified that the photo was simply taken to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday and did not depict a real proposal.

The photographer had posted the image on their personal account without prior discussion, leading to its spread among fans on various online platforms. The agency also mentioned that there are currently 'no specific plans' for marriage.

With a fan meeting approaching, the agency expressed concern that fans might be shocked by the sudden rumors, stating, 'Ok Taecyeon is diligently preparing for the fan meeting, and we are worried that fans who are looking forward to it might be surprised.'

Ok Taecyeon has been in a relationship with his girlfriend for five years, having publicly acknowledged their romance in June 2020.
