2PM's Junho Makes Solo Comeback with 'Simple Dance'

Today, June 23, 2025, 2PM member Junho is set to release his new digital single 'Simple Dance' at 6 PM KST, marking his return as a solo artist. This release comes approximately 7 years and 5 months after his last mini-album 'When We Break Up' in January 2018, much to the delight of his fans who have eagerly awaited new music.
'Simple Dance' is a self-penned track by Junho, showcasing his songwriting and composing skills. The song reaffirms his musical talent, which has previously produced hits like 2PM's comeback track 'Must' and his solo songs 'R.O.S.E', 'Just Like That', 'Dduk', and 'Off the Record'.
The lyrics metaphorically compare the desire to shine brightly again after a cold period to a dance that resembles a spark. The song, rooted in the synth-pop genre, emphasizes a clean yet danceable sound, enhanced by dynamic synth drums and prominent guitar riffs that elevate his vocal performance.
Known for his exceptional dancing skills and performance artistry, Junho's 'Simple Dance' expands his dance repertoire. The teaser for the music video captures the essence of the song, featuring Junho immersed in dance, with beads of sweat and damp hair, inviting listeners to smoothly engage with 'Simple Dance'.
Recently, Junho has also showcased his variety skills through shows like Netflix's 'Driver: Finding the Lost Handle', and with his return to music, he is set to shine as an all-around artist this summer.
At 6 PM KST, Junho will officially unveil 'Simple Dance', followed by a comeback live session on 2PM's official YouTube channel at 7 PM, where he will interact with fans.
