2024 SBS Entertainment Awards Scheduled for December 31

The 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards will take place on December 31, marking a first for the event to be held on the last day of the year. On November 20, an official from SBS confirmed to OSEN that the awards ceremony is indeed set for this date.

Previously, SBS has hosted its acting awards on December 31, but last year, the SBS Acting Awards were held on the 29th, and this year, they are scheduled for December 21. As a result, the SBS Entertainment Awards will now be broadcast on the final day of the year.

Throughout 2024, SBS has aired a variety of entertainment programs, including reality variety shows, sports entertainment, and observational programs. Long-standing favorites such as Running Man (런닝맨), Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 (동상이몽2-너는 내 운명), and My Little Old Boy (미운 우리 새끼) have continued to capture audiences, alongside newer shows like Shoes Off, Dolsing Men (신발 벗고 돌싱포맨), Just a Moment (틈만나면), and The Magic Star (더 매직스타). With such a diverse lineup, all eyes are on who will take home the prestigious grand prize this year.
