2024 MBC Gayo Daejejun Scheduled for Lunar New Year Holiday

MBC has announced that the '2024 MBC Gayo Daejejun' will air on January 29 and 30 at 5:25 PM. Originally set for December 31, 2023, the event was postponed due to the tragic Jeju Air incident on December 29, which led to a quiet recording of the show. This year's Gayo Daejejun will be the first to air in the following year since its inception in 2005. The theme for this year's festival is 'Wannabe,' featuring top artists such as aespa, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, and many more. Unique collaborations will also be showcased, including performances by Taemin with ENHYPEN's Niki and NCT's Mark with Lee Young-ji. Additionally, this will mark the final hosting appearance of Im Yoon-a, who has been a staple of the event for the past decade. Despite the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the previous year's event, the 2024 Gayo Daejejun promises to deliver a rich array of performances for the Lunar New Year holiday.
