New voting members will have the opportunity to participate in selecting Grammy Award winners starting from the 68th Grammy Awards, scheduled for February 1, 2026. They will also have access to various events and opportunities to express their opinions within the Academy.

HYBE Music Group artists and producers have significantly contributed to the quantitative and qualitative growth of K-pop. 범주 (Bumzu), who debuted as a singer-songwriter, has produced numerous hits for various artists, including SEVENTEEN, and has won multiple awards at the 11th Korean Music Copyright Association Awards. As the leader of ENHYPEN, 정원 (Jungwon) has played a crucial role in the group's rise to K-pop stardom, merging K-pop with unique album narratives and webtoons to create a new entertainment landscape. 허윤진 (Heo Yunjin) has actively participated in songwriting and producing for 르세라핌's mini-album, demonstrating her artistic capabilities through her original compositions.

KATSEYE, consisting of members 다니엘라 (Daniela), 라라 (Lara), 마농 (Manon), 메간 (Megan), 소피아 (Sofia), and 윤채 (Yoonchae), all received invitations to join the Academy. After debuting in the U.S. under HYBE's K-pop production system, they have showcased their exceptional vocal and performance skills, recently achieving a remarkable 4th place on the Billboard main album chart with their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' within just a year of their debut.

Producers Slow Rabbit, Supreme Boi, and Wonderkid have collaborated with various HYBE artists, including BTS (방탄소년단), TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, and KATSEYE, creating numerous hit songs. Notable tracks that have entered the Billboard Hot 100 include BTS's 'DNA', 'MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) (Feat. The Recording Academy selects new members annually through peer evaluations from existing members. HYBE's Chairman 방시혁 (Bang Si-hyuk), along with all seven members of BTS and producer Pdogg, are currently active voting members. HYBE stated, 'The selection of new members by the Recording Academy reflects the expanding influence of K-pop in the global music industry and the high status of HYBE Music Group artists and producers.
